1,000+ Blinkweb Users in 30 seconds! Welcome everyone!
Well, after a very brief launch today, there are now 1,000 (1,206 to be exact) users that have access to Blinkweb. We wanted to open Blinkweb initially to a small number of people to make sure that our server could handle the stress/strain/usage from so many users.

Welcome BlinkWeb Users!

While, there were many upset people submitting support requests and personal emails to us stating they were upset, frustrated, or just down-right angry that they couldn't get in, we believe this is the best move in the longterm for Blinkweb users.

To those that wrote us personal email concerning Blinkweb limiting initial membership to only 1,000, We're extremely sorry! Trust us on this one. We want to make sure Blinkweb is stable and usable for you. We didn't want to put the risk on the Blinkweb users by going "hog wild" with some elaborate launch, where the servers would likely crash, causing the website to become completely unusable.

Capping the initial membership allows us to test many unknowns and make sure the site is completely functional when we open it up permanently in a couple of days. So, for those that were not one of the first *1,206 members, not to worry, Blinkweb will open back up "permanently" in only a few short days.

Rest assured that when Blinkweb does re-open in just a couple of days, you will be able to enjoy the positive user experience you deserve. If you haven't signed up to be notified when Blinkweb re-opens, you may visit the homepage. Scroll down and you'll notice a signup form on the bottom right: http://business.blinkweb.com

... and again, please trust us on this one.  It's better for everyone that we take things slowly and make sure our servers can handle the strain.

We truly want Blinkweb to be the very best it can be for YOU!

All the best!

Hi there Brad & Matt I would just like to say that those people who made negative and angry comments need to grow up. I think that we are really fortunate that two people like you are very gracious and generous to go to such trouble to create this site let alone offer what you have to the public for free and I would like to personally say thank you both so much for all your hard work and generosity to us. What you have created allows people like me who are new to marketing and the net, to be able to learn and create our own web site in such a great and easy way made possible by you both. Thank you once again and I wish you every success in you future endeavors.

Thanks for opening it up to the masses. Here in the land of Oz we usually receive our emails when everything has been closed. Have 10 new sites to make and this will cut my time down in chunks. As we say here, "Goog on ya mate!" Great software and it really looks like it will be a winner in every sense of the word. Thanks again guys for opening it up to the world. Your reward will be great. Question: Will you offer url hosting etc?

  3. Brian Morgan Says:

I'm in! Can't wait to play around and see what "creative juices" I have. Thanks for the opportunity, and the domain and hosting prices, Are you sure? $1.00 for all of that and more! You must be joking but the good thing is you're not! Thanks for everything. God Bless Brian UK < Ps It's amazing how people get disappointed when something is for free.

I love this site. It is wonderful. I am having a fun time designing my new website. I am having a problem with the site though. It is an issue with adding photos to my website. It doesn't allow you to resize photos if you want to add any to your website that you are making. And the option of using flickr. It asks for an email address but everyone that I try does not work. I hope you can help me with this issue because it is the only problem that I have with blinkweb. Other than that your guys' site is "THE BEST".

Have some sites along with various related products and services for Community and Families, Youth and Recreation. Please let me know if this ok to do and let me know what other options. I do have several individual sites but would like everything all in one hat.

Some instructions on how to use it would be great :)

Dave Poulton from Australia above said "Goog on ya mate". Whilst in Australia we use the word 'goog' for an egg, as in 'googie egg'(maily with kids) I'm sure what he meant to say was 'GOOD on ya mate'. :) Maybe he got a knock on the goog (meaning head...egg...head...get it?)
